ใช้ Neither แสดงความเหมือนกันในประโยคปฏิเสธ (เช่น ฉันไม่ชอบฟิล์ม--ฉันก็ไม่ชอบ)

กริยาช่วย (Auxiliary) ต้องเป็น tense เดียวกันกับประโยคที่ผู้พูดแสดงความเหมือน

การใช้ neither + กริยาช่วย + ประธาน มีความหมายเหมือนกับการใช้ either ที่ท้ายประโยค (I don't, either.) นิยมใช้ neither ในภาษาพูด

A: I don't understand Spanish.
B: Neither do I. (= I don't understand Spanish either.)

A: I cannot swim.
B: Neither can I. (= I can't swim either.)
